After hotel pick-up, we'll drive to Belgrade Fortress and Kalemegdan park. This is the place where the most distant past can be seen, and where Belgrade started as a human settlement very long time ago. It is the most logical spot to begin unfolding unusual and exciting story about Belgrade - the 'Crossroads of the Worlds'.

We'll enjoy superb views at the confluence of Sava and Danube rivers, New Belgrade and Zemun.

Then we will proceed to the heart of the city, the Republic square, with monument to Prince Michael, and buildings of National Theatre and National Museum. Short walk to the Prince Michael (Knez Mihajlova) pedestrian street, and a 30 min. refreshment break (one drink included in the tour price).

After the break we continue with the panoramic drive: Terazije, National Assembly, City Council ('Old Court'), Kneza Miloša Street (with scars from the recent conflicts still visible), arriving in luxurious residential quarter of Dedinje.

Stop and one hour visit of The House of FlowersMemorial of Marshal TITO,  

president for life of Socialist Yugoslavia and one of the most influential leaders of the XX c. After this visit, our panoramic drive will take us by Red Star Belgrade soccer stadium and to famous St Sava Memorial Church, one of the largest religious buildings in the whole world (30 min. visit)

Panoramic drive continued: Slavija Circus, King Milan St., …going to 'Old Town' and passing by Orthodox Cathedral and the Patriarchate of the Serbian Orthodox Church, Princess Ljubica's Residence and well known Question mark '?' Inn, oldest restaurant in the city, and the only one with such a strange name in the whole world.

Return to the hotel. End of service.

We walk through 'Stambol' and 'Clock' gates and enjoy open air exhibition of the Military museum. Than we proceed to the 'King's Tower' and 'Zindan Gate' and visit The Rose Church of Our Lady. View of the 'Lower town' and its monuments. Enjoying superb views of the confluence of Sava and Danube rivers, New Belgrade, Zemun and 'Victor monument", one of the symbols of the city. Continuing through 'King's Gate' and rest of the Kalemegdan park with number of monuments.

Victor monument, BelgradeLeaving the park and passing by beautiful French embassy, reaching the Patriarchate, Orthodox Cathedral (visit), seeing "?" Inn (Question mark Inn) and Princess Ljubica's Residence. Walking up to Knez Mihajlova pedestrian street, by far the oldest street in the city as scholars say that it follows the central grid layout of the Roman city of Singidunum which existed almost 2000 years ago. It has a large number of impressive buildings and mansions built at the end of the 1870's, and is protected by law as one of the most valuable landmarks of the city.

Finally, we end the tour at the Republic Square, real heart of Belgrade, with buildings of the National Theatre, and National Museum and well known equestrian statue of Prince Michael (Knez Mihajlo). End of service.

Duration: approx. 2.5 hours.

Optionally, we can organize private car/coach pick-up and return to hotel upon request for this tour. Lunch in a traditional Serbian restaurant can also be arranged.
