National museum Founded in 1844. More than 400.000 objects from pre-historic times until today. French, Italian, Dutch, Flemish, Japanese, Russian art collections, sculpture, numismatics, ancient art. Temporarily closed for complete, extensive renovations. One ad, just before closing, stated: '9000 years – One Museum'. |

Museum of African Art The only museum in the country dedicated to the arts and culture of Africa. Initially established from a private collection of Mr. Pečar, long time Yugoslav ambassador in Africa, bequeathed to the City of Belgrade in 1974. |

Countess Ljubica's Residence Part of the Belgrade city museum, to this day saved as the most representative city house from the first half of 19th century. First modest royal residence built immediately after regaining freedom from the Ottoman rule. The exhibition show interiors, furniture, atmosphere and customs of XIX c. Serbian mansions. |

Museum of Yugoslav History – House of Flowers (Tito Memorial) Burial place of Marshall Josip Broz TITO, president for life of Yugoslavia and one of the most influential world leaders in the second half of the twentieth century. Nice exhibition that takes you back to his era. Photos, uniforms, and gifts to Tito from all around the country and the world. |

Nikola Tesla Museum Nikola Tesla was a world-renowned Serbian-American inventor, physicist, mechanical engineer and electrical engineer. He was one of the most brilliant inventors of all history and was of an unusual intellectual vision. Sometimes referred to as 'The man who invented the twentieth century'. |

Belgrade Aviation Museum Museum owns more than 200 aircraft, from the early days of aviation until modern times. Collection includes WWI and WWII planes, helicopters, gliders, missiles, radars. On display are also relics of NATO aircraft shot down during Balkans conflicts including F117A stealth fighter wreckage. The only remaining Fiat G50 aircraft in the world can also be seen here. |

Military Museum Founded in 1878, is one of the oldest museums in the city. Exhibition covers some 2000 years. Weapons from antique times (Roman and Greek), medieval, more modern guns, uniforms, flags. Rich collection of tanks and cannons from WWI and WWII. Items from 1990's conflicts. Indoor and outdoor exhibitions. Located at Belgrade Fortress. |
PTT Museum (Post, Telegraph, Telephone) Philately, various telecommunications devices, telephones, switchboards, and a beautiful mail coach from XIX century are just some of the interesting items to be seen here. |

Jewish Historical Museum Museum treasures extensive collection of art, rare and old books, documents and archives, archaeological collection, Holocaust collection, Judaica collection. Permanent exhibition enables visitor to learn about Jewish habits, architecture, culture and art in the region of whole former Yugoslavia ever since their first arrival in the region in II-III century. |

Museum of Automobiles It was founded by Mr Bratislav Petković, owner of a beautiful collection of historically important automobiles and archive materials. The Museum is accommodated in building called "Modern Garage" constructed in 1929, in the city center. The collection includes old-timers and rare automobiles, about 50 of them on display, many of them more than 70 years old. The oldest automobile in the museum was built in 1897! |

Yugoslav Film Archives Museum Founded in 1952, is a specialized cinema for screening domestic and foreign classic film, mainly from the film library of the Yugoslav Film Archives which is one of the largest in Europe. Part of its ongoing activities is visits by authors, or notable filmmakers from the country and abroad. The entrance hall of the Museum holds the exhibition area. |
Museum of Natural History Founded in 1895, it has about 900,000 items and the following collections: minerals, rocks, hunting trophies, palaeontological, zoological and botanical collections. The museum also contains a library, founded in 1903, with over 20,000 books and other materials. |
