Slopes of Beljanica mountain hide not only cultural gems but the biggest and one of the oldest cave systems in Serbia - Resava Cave. After seeing this wonder of nature, the journey will take us to the best preserved Serbian medieval fortification and monastery - Manasija - with among the finest examples of fresco art. Its beauty and significance has been an inspiration for centuries. It's been a place from where literacy and Christianity were spreading throughout the Balkans, Central and Eastern Europe.
After lunch (lunch is included in tour price) and admiring traditional Serbian cuisine in pleasant and relaxing restaurant located at the bank of Great Morava river, we will enjoy excellent exibitions of the National History Center of Serbia - a modern scientific and educational center built by the joint effort of the EU and Serbian Ministry of Science only in 2015.
