Private tour to the multicultural capital of Vojvodina province, home of more than 20 different ethnic groups
This half day tour takes us to the province of Vojvodina, in northern part of Serbia. It is a home of 27 different ethnic groups and six religious denominations, therefore sometimes called 'Little Europe'. Novi Sad, province capital is a beautiful city of some 350.000 citizens. And it's just 90 km (56 mi) from Belgrade.

After hotel pick-up, we'll take the E-75 motorway and drive to Novi Sad (1h:15min). Our first stop will be famous Petrovaradin Fortress, second biggest in Europe, built on the massive rock above the Danube. In attempt to emphasize its size, strength and importance, contemporaries named it "Gibraltar on the Danube". We learn here about extremely complicated maze of underground tunnels and galleries, 16 km long, which was part of state-of-the-art defence system. Today, the fortress is where summer international music festival, 'EXIT' takes place. Afterwards, we wll enjoy superb view on the city having a coffee break.*
After some free time at leisure in the heart of the city (45-60 min), we proceed with the panoramic drive covering major city areas and boulevards and also passing by house that was home of the Einsteins in the early XX c.
Return to Belgrade and your hotel. End of service.
